Hi! My name is Ashley Maitlen, and I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
My journey with nutrition began long ago when I was an athlete and realized food had not only the ability to heal the body, but also lessen pain, and support the mind. After realizing the power of fresh, whole foods I’ve been on a lifelong journey to nourish my body as it grows and changes. I know it can be a new and daunting chapter to open, but I can say that I am thrilled to be here with my clients through every step of the way.
My goal is to create a space for clients to feel motivated and empowered as we address your individual nutrition needs. I believe you can heal your mind and support your body with a holistic and individual approach to nutrition and lifestyle. Through supporting the body and correcting imbalances and deficiencies, and numerous other strategies a happier life can be right around the corner!
Leah Timmerman has counseled clients as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner since 2012, though has been studying and obsessed with nutrition much longer! Leah focuses on healing you by looking at many aspects of your health. Whether that is correcting micronutrient deficiencies, addressing food intolerances, avoiding toxins, or improving your digestion, there's usually always a will and strategy that can be aided by nutrition.
Leah also has personal interest and specializes in helping couples boost their fertility and preconception health before having a baby. Leah lives in Michigan with her husband and their two pups. You can read more about her pre-conception work through her instagram @thebumpstartofficial or at www.thebumpstart.com
